Eve Doucette is a project manager for a design/build
construction company. Right now the
Mayor is driving her nuts by making changes to the new city hall building her
company was supposed to design and build. And now he is bringing in his high
priced architect nephew to design the building and it won’t be anything like
the preliminary drawing the Eve had done.
Matt Brison is a well-known architect who is doing a favor for his Uncle
Bob the Mayor. He never counted on the
force of nature that is Eve. He starts
out on the wrong foot and despite the fact that she is nothing like the women
he has dated in the past or is looking for in his future he finds himself drawn
to Eve. Eve has been hurt and doesn't
want to be drawn to Matt but he may be the one guy she can see building a
future with.
This book was hilarious!
Fans of Jill Shalvis and Kristan Higgins will love this book. It is filled with a multitude of “I Love Lucy”
moments, a sweet thoughtful man and a woman who will shake up his world.
