My review:

I just love finding new series. Girl in the Shadows is the first in the new Diamond Files Mysteries by Angela Pepper. Angela Pepper has a knack for finding new angles and locations for her stories and this book is a perfect example. Our heroine Abby Silver isn’t your average girl and yet she is. She is tall, athletic, and has a fantastic memory yet she doubts herself, tends to jump to conclusions and has made some poor choices. When she takes the temp job with Detective Derek Diamond and his beagle named Chewie Abby finds herself enjoying the work and starts to find herself. Girl in the Shadows is a fun cozy mystery that leaves you feeling good and looking forward to the next adventure.
