Highland Mists: A Highland Romp by Hildie McQueen

Blurb:
Highland Mists - A Highland Romp!

If his true identity is discovered he will hang...

When visitors from Skye arrive to the small village of Moriag, Paden Fraser is fearful that the secrets from his past will be revealed. The more he tries to hide from the truth, the harder it becomes, especially when he catches the eye of the visiting laird’s daughter.

After her betrothed was brutally slayed, Emma McLeod is sure she’ll never feel passion again. Could it be that the remarkable resemblance the town’s blacksmith has to her dead lover, is fate is giving her a second chance at love.

When Emma takes matters in hand and to seduce Paden, does it mean she’s bringing death to his doorstep?

My review:
Paden Fraser is running from his past. But a guilty conscience runs with you. When he falls for the daughter of a Laird his work as a blacksmith makes him unfit. He has to go right the wrongs of the past before he can have a future. I loved this story. Emma knows what she wants and goes for it. This story is sure to leave you with a smile.
