Blurb:
Superheroes can do things that shouldn’t be
possible...but can they fall in love?
In the second (stand alone story)
book of the Paladin series, Riko, a frienemy from the first book of the
series, has her backstory revealed, and it’s not as cold as you might expect.
During a mission that takes an
unexpected turn, Riko must “babysit” an asset who may be the only chance of
finding a former senator’s daughter who has become involved with a sinister
underworld.
The career driven Riko has made a
point of never getting close, but there’s something about this asset that makes
her question if love has a place in her life.
Travel on a page-turning adventure
around the world in this suspenseful sweet romance with a superhero twist.
My review:
Superheroes Don't Fall in Love is a fun fast paced romp that
will have you saying what if. A lot. This may be a “superhero” book but it isn’t
a comic. There is action, intrigue and romance and thought provoking mystery. This
book explores whether you have to have super powers to be a hero. I think the
answer is that anybody can be a hero. I enjoyed this story and look forward to
more in this world.
