Blurb:
When two humans walk into a paranormal resort, hilarity
ensues...
Psychologist Kat Travers thinks she at Crimson
Moon Hideaway for an obligatory work conference. She’s much more interested in
staying long enough to take advantage of all the spa amenities. When she finds
herself face to face with a werewolf, and discovers what is really going on at
Crimson Moon, she invites her best friend, Olivia Freeman to join her on a
weekend of paranormal fun. Little does Kat know, the real reason she's been
invited to Crimson Moon, and that the truth will shock her to her very core...
Carter McDonough is a wolf shifter on holiday from
Scotland, avoiding the pack feud for as long as he can. He had given up on ever
finding a suitable mate for his wolf, and resigned himself to a life of
singleness. The next dog fight might kill him anyway. But the way his wolf
yearns to be with Kat has him rethinking that plan. Now he has to make a choice
between the spunky human who challenges him at every turn to give into his
wicked desires; and loyalty to his pack, who expect him to settle down with one
of their own kind. When trouble comes for Carter, he has no choice but to risk
everything he is trying to build with Kat to keep her safe...
My
review:
Psychologist Kat Travers knows that humans can be monsters
but then she is invited to the paranormal getaway Crimson Moon Hideaway and
finds she needs a new definition for monster. Wolf shifter Carter McDonough
knows about family obligation but is not ready to tie himself to a total shrew
in an arranged marriage.
The chemistry between Kat and Carter is evident from the
start and they bring out the best in each other. Kat’s world is shaken to the
core and Carter helps get her through it. Now it’s Kat’s turn to do the same
for Carter.
This was a witty tale of love and learning.
