My review:
Three
stories of honorable men and the women they fall for. Told by the fantastic
Heather Long these three tales will leave you believing that there are heroes
out there and love does conquer all.
Shielding Shayna
Shayna Morgan has been beaten up by life time and again. She
is back on her feet and fighting not only for herself but other female vets
who’ve been knocked down and need a hand up. But someone doesn’t want her to
succeed and former SEAL Fergus "Oddjob" Roper is there to help keep
her safe and find out who is trying to shut her operation down.
I love Oddjob’s upbeat outlook on life and respect Shayna’s ability to take a licking and keep on ticking. Shayna’s story about tore my heart out but her strength demands you acknowledge and move on. I enjoyed the heck out of this story.

Chasing Katie is a high energy, heart pounding tale of loss,
love and survival. Katie was in the wrong place at the wrong time but she may
have the answers to who set the bomb that cost Liam “Angel” Knight his twin
sister and probably his Navy career. He is determined to find her and get some
answers. Unfortunately the bad guys have the same idea. Now it is up to Angel
to keep Katie alive long enough to get some answers. It took me a bit to warm
up to Katie but she was real and honest and I had to admire her.
Wrangling Wanda
Wrangling
Wanda is a sweet and sensuous read. I fell for Brick and Hondo right along with
Wanda. I liked the slow burn. I loved that Wanda was so strong in her own
right. I read this story in one sitting and didn’t want to let the characters
go.
