Blurb:
Could
it be true love?
Is losing the only family she knows worth finding
out?
Being adopted when she was just a few days old,
Dwyer Johnson was elated to find out her birth family had reached out to her.
Even more exciting was finding out she came from an elite witch bloodline.
Arriving at Crimson Moon Hideaway, Dwyer is thrust into the middle of the
coven’s vote for Supreme, leading her into mysterious situations. She should
have been a shoo-in.
Ellio Barnes was the clear choice as the new
Supreme of their coven, having been groomed since she was a child for the
position. However, with Dwyer’s sudden appearance, the clear choice became a
little foggier. Would the two women sabotage each other, or were they meant to
be something more?
My review:
Evil Eye takes place after Crimson Moon Hideaway: Out of Reach
but can be read standalone understanding that the characters and events that
took place in the earlier book will be referenced and characters may make an
appearance. This story takes you on an emotional rollercoaster as an orphan makes
contact with her family for the first time. There is a whole lot going on in
this story and you’ll want time to read it through.
