Duplicity (The Myriad Project #1) by Rowan Hayes

Blurb:

How much is a year of my life worth?

It turns out the answer is a hell of a lot, but there’s a catch. I’m more valuable asleep than I am awake. Go figure.

Before I went under, I was Darius Castor, an elite asset in the cutthroat world of corporate espionage. But after an assignment went nova and left my body broken, tech mogul Carson Harris offered me the deal of a lifetime. The terms were simple: spend three years in a stasis pod while my highly specialized skill set was harvested and downloaded into “duplicants,” synthetic beings designed to be the workforce of the future. In exchange, I’d get a massive payout and the cutting-edge cybernetics needed to rebuild my shattered body.

It was the perfect solution—until someone cancelled my wake-up call.

Now that I’m awake, I need answers and allies. I also need to expose a billionaire madman’s plans to hijack humanity’s future. But first, I’m going to get my body back.

My review:

Duplicity is a mind-bending, sci-fi thrill ride. This tale takes you through the hellish landscape of a future controlled by corporations who could care less about anything but their profits and agendas. It kept me on the edge of my seat till the very last page.
