My review:
This book will tear your heart out and then put things
right. Callie Reed has pulled herself up and out of more than one bad situation
in life and kept moving forward. Even when Wyatt Loughman stomped on her heart.
She kept going. Now he is back and old feelings are making themselves known.
She will keep on going.
Wyatt Loughman has forced himself not to feel. Ever since
his mother’s murder he has put emotion to the side except when it came to Callie
Reed. But he knew he had things to do so he put her aside as well but the
feelings never did manage to go away. Now there are folks wanting to kill them
can he face that without telling her how he feels?
This story drops you into the middle of a war zone with
conspiracies and unknowns everywhere. The only thing you can trust is your
heart.
Even though this is part of a series you can read it
stand-alone. Fair warning it will have you reaching for the previous books
while anxiously awaiting the next.
