My review:
As a young woman Mckenna
escaped her kidnapper and survived. Now 12 years later she uses that experience
as an FBI victim specialist. Now there is a kidnapping that eerily echoes hers.
Hunky FBI agent Evan Knox is on the case
and they need to work together to find the kidnapper and his victims.
Mckenna is incredibly strong. She has to
revisit her mindset after her kidnapping again and again to help victims and assist
the FBI get information from victims after trauma. Her adorable lab is a natural at helping
people cope with the trauma. This case hits close to home. Having Evan believe
in her heals a part of her she didn’t know needed healing. I really enjoyed
this fast paced mystery.
