A Wedding Pit-astrophy (A Barkside of the Moon Cozy Mystery Book 9) by Renee George

A Wedding Pit-astrophy (A Barkside of the Moon Cozy Mystery Book 9) by Renee George

Blurb:

Something borrowed, something blue, something old, but does the something new have to be corpse? For body magnet, Lily Mason, the answer is always yes.

Lily and Parker are finally tying the knot. Surrounded by their friends, family, and faithful dogs in the quirky town of Moonrise, the long-awaited day promises joy, love, and maybe a few nerves. But when a corpse crashes the wedding party, the impending “I do's” turn into “whodunit?”

Secrets unravel, old grudges resurface, and danger lurks at every turn. With fierce determination and a gift for the truth, Lily and the Moonrise gang must unravel secrets, dodge danger, and stop a murderer before their big day becomes their last.

Perfect for fans of quirky small towns, canine sidekicks, and paranormal mysteries with bite, A Wedding Pit-astrophy proves that in Moonrise, true love might be forever—but so is murder.

My review:

In this fun episode The Moonrise murder mystery club runs side by side with wedding preparations. Lily and Parker and Buzz and Nadine are planning a double wedding! Nerves are to be expected. A dead body is not. But it’s not the first time Lily’s stumbled over a body. She is not going to let anything ruin her wedding. "Der mentsh trakht un got lakht" ("Man plans and God laughs").

I laughed and sighed my way through this terrific addition to the series.
