My review:

A Wolf's Bargain by T.L. Reeve brings back characters from Winter Magic, Omega's Heart and A Wolf's Contract but can be read stand alone. The author takes us on a ride that decries the insta love of the fated mate trope. Lily knows that Chris is her fated mate. But she also knows he visits a place called The Dungeon and is with other she wolves. Not going to happen to her. She doesn’t know much about The Dungeon but she knows she is a one wolf woman and will not fall for a hound dog wolf. Besides she has responsibilities. I loved this story. Yes Lily makes Chris work for it but the fates don’t put together folks that are wrong for each other. Break out a fan and some tissues as there is some sadness in amongst the heat.

My review:

I am really conflicted. These are some really great characters that had a wonderful story to share but I think that the story was rushed to make it short enough for this series. I really felt for Shiloh. She has been through abuse and come through the other side bent and broken. She needs time to heal and this story didn’t give it to her. I give Parker props for admitting he was wrong and going for help to try to fix it. Not a bad story just not as great as it could have been. Still worth the read.

My review:

A fantastic follow up to Matanzas Moon. This book is better than the first. In Matanzas Moon: Ablaze we find out more about RIP’s past and what makes him tick. We follow the progression in Bridget and Nick’s relationship. All while fighting off some evil from the past. As with the first book St. Augustine plays a major role. This is an intriguing paranormal mystery.

My review:

Dark romantic suspense by one of the best in the business. Jayne Ann Krentz does not disappoint. Max and Charlotte find themselves and each other while sorting through a mystery bound to keep you guessing. More creepy than spooky.

My review:

This second installment Has Rose and Henry getting married and meeting Virgil. The stresses of school and a new baby give them little time to explore each other. I love that the author gives us a realistic picture of young parenting. I look forward to seeing where she takes it from here.

My review:

I was one of those who were clamoring for Alex’s story. Alex is the baby brother who turned to alcohol rather than his family when his problems grew too tough to ignore. Everything came to a head at Miranda and Deckers wedding. Alex went into rehab after that. He has now been sober a little over a year and he is fighting to stay in control. Falling for Tabby is the antithesis of control but may just be the best thing that has ever happened to him. I love that the author doesn’t dismiss or belittle his struggles to stay sober. Nor does she shy from the problems inherent in a relationship with a recovering alcoholic. Watching Tabby and Alex heal each other was truly beautiful. Ink Exposed is a fantastic addition to the series and well worth the wait.
