The Great Holi-Fake by Jodi Linton

Blurb:

Odette Anderson is an awarding wining TV producer who, despite considering chefs bad news in the dating pool works with the most infamous, bachelor celebrity in the food industry, Jaxon Rose. The infuriating, handsome chef has issues with getting his name splashed across page six. At least, he’s sweet on the eyes, which so far has them holding rank as the number one rated food program…until he loses his effing cool live on air during the taping of their holiday show.

To save face with their boss, and hopefully viewers, they agree to spend the holidays in Odie’s hometown together. Yet somehow their little mission of get out of dodge turns into them engaged. Her family might think Jaxon is her fiancé, but she knows the truth—it’s all fake. Except it doesn’t seem fake when he charms her on the ice rink nor when he kisses her by the Christmas tree. Odie starts to wonder if she should ask Santa for a new Christmas miracle, because little by little she’s beginning to see the real Jaxon, and the perfect present might just be the right man.

My review:

The Great Holi-Fake by Jodi Linton is a sweet fake boyfriend holiday tale the while predictable was still enjoyable. The author fills the tale with wit and slapstick humor. It warmed the cockles of my heart.
