before, she must distill the evidence herself and serve the killer a swift shot

My review:
The Moonshine Shack Murder is an adorably quirky cozy mystery
with an irrepressible entrepreneur, a hot horse cop (of course), a curmudgeonly
grandfather, various friends, a cat and a murder victim that was no great loss.
I really enjoyed this story and got a kick out of Hattie’s pride in her
bootlegging history. I read this in one
sitting. I guessed the killer but not the motive. I’d love to visit with Hattie
and company again.
