My review:
A Terrible Fall of Angels is the first in a new paranormal
police procedural from Laurell K. Hamilton. I had no expectations when I picked
this up but I thoroughly enjoyed this story. This is a cerebral thriller that
takes place in a vividly different world than ours. Zaniel Havelock is a
detective with a past and a skill set unlike any others. Trained as an Angel speaker from a young age he left
that world behind and joined the military then the police force handling mystical
crimes. In this story his past comes to mess with his future. Zaniel is a
complex character but totally relatable. This story left me wanting more.
