Agent Breaker: Federal Paranormal Unit (Otherworld Agents #2) by Godiva Glenn

Blurb:
IT STARTED AS A NORMAL DAY AT WORK…
Breaker Barrileaux is a honey badger shifter who uses his tenacity and zero-f**ks attitude to excel at his job as a Federal Paranormal Unit agent. When a missing persons case lands on his desk, and the first suspect is pulled in, he has no reason to believe it’s more than what it seems.

SOMEONE IS AFTER HER…
Victoria Amsel is a practitioner of shadow magic—not to be confused with the dark forces. But that distinction doesn't matter when the normally positive and carefree woman finds herself in an interrogation room with the world’s most cantankerous—but fiercely attractive—FPU agent. She’s suddenly a wanted woman, both by the law and by Breaker.

MAGIC AND MAYHEM ARE IN THE AIR…
What started as a simple case becomes a puzzling murder, and Breaker has to protect Victoria from an unknown villain with mysterious and vile intent. Evidence is pointing at her as the criminal, but he knows better. Victoria is his mate, and he refuses to accept her as guilty. What will he have to do to prove her innocence and take down the actual killer?

My review:
Agent Breaker: Federal Paranormal Unit is an exciting paranormal mystery to with humor and wit. This story will suck you in and keep you guessing. Breaker Barrileaux is leather and Victoria Amsel is lace yet the two manage to find something in the other that draws them to each other rules be damned. I really like this tale and look forward to more in this world.
