My review:
Through the
Fire introduces us to Kit Jernigan
and her K9 Justice. Justice is a bloodhound and thus is perfectly suited to be
a tracker. Kit is the new girl in town and only female cop. Wesley March, local
fire spotter, tech genius and borderline hermit is smitten with Kit from first
glance. Kit and Justice have their work cut out for them trying to fit in and
assuring her brothers in blue she has their back.
I really liked Kit and found Wes awkwardly adorable. I liked
that the author showed us how rambunctious bloodhounds are and how much training
goes into keeping them on point. This book was full of resolutions and new possibilities.
I really enjoyed it.
