Wolf's Holiday (Black Hills Wolves book 31) by Rebecca Royce

Blurb:
Drew Tao is loving life. His pack is happy. And it’s time for the holidays. But his mate is keeping secrets and there is a crazy mother bear circling his borders. Can they survive the holidays or will everything fall apart?

My review:
In Wolf's Return (Black Hills Wolves, #1) we were introduced to Drew and Betty. Wolf's Holiday tells us where they and the pack are one year later.  The pack is healing. Former members are returning. Life is good. But even when life is good there can be some angst and when you are the Alpha you can pretty much count on it. Drew spent a lot of years living and hiding among humans and the pack has human members now including the Enforcers mate. Not all human traditions and ideas are bad and the Winter Solstice is a good time to celebrate new beginnings.
It always amazes me how much story Rebecca Royce can pack into so few pages. This book packs a punch. Rebecca Royce takes us deeper into Betty’s heart and mind and what we find there may surprise you. Not a sappy holiday story but it will leave you smiling. Can be read standalone.
