My review:
We met straight arrow Lieutenant Brody Essex and artist Shannon
Fabray in Her Marine (Always
a Marine #5). Two years have passed and
they have grown closer through infrequent visits, skype, email and snail
mail. Shannon has found her passion and
it has made her work shine. Her work is
growing in popularity and she has a stalker.
Brody is overseas but his Marine family has been watching over Shannon
in his absence. When the stalker escalates
to violence against her Brody needs to be by her side.
It is tough
being a military spouse/significant other.
I know this from experience.
Being apart from your loved ones is hard but it is especially difficult
in times of trouble. This book puts you
there. I promise you will feel Shannon’s
fear and Brody’s frustration but mostly you will feel their love and the sense
of community from their friends and the great folks from Mikes place. You probably can read this stand-alone but it
will mean so much more if you’ve at least read Her Marine. This is an
addictive series and each seems to be better than the last.
