Pros and Cons is the prequel to The Heist. It introduces us to con-man Nick Fox and FBI special
agent Kate O’Hare. Fox is a fast
talking, good looking, smart and savvy con-man who takes joy in teasing tough,
focused FBI special agent Kate O’Hare. In
Pros and Cons Nick gets away but in The Heist Kate finally catches him. But just when it seems that Nicolas Fox has
been captured for good, he pulls off his greatest con of all: he convinces the
FBI to offer him a job, working side by side with Special Agent Kate O’Hare.
Janet Evanovich does humor and snappy dialogue like
nobody else. Lee Goldberg writes
quirky intrigue really well. Combine the
two and you have the beginnings of a really great series.
