My review:

 

            This is the tale of a protector werewolf suffering from a version of PTSD that has him retreating from people. When he finds a young woman dying on his porch he is unprepared for the way she shakes up his world. This was a sweet and exciting romance. I can’t wait to dive into Deacon’s story.

My review:

FANTASTIC! I have waited so long for this story. Two of our favorites Sparkle and Bluebell have a history that has been hinted at and we finally get the details. This story broke my heart, rebuilt it and filled it with hope.

My review:

Getaway With Murder is a delightful cozy with a Hallmark vibe.  Misty is a freshly divorced mother of two who is starting over by opening a mountaintop lodge complete with the flannel shirted handyman. The mystery is just difficult enough to keep you wondering.

My review:

The third in a trilogy this story ties up the questions from the earlier books but can be read standalone. This story features a sweet, snarky, talented witch and her familiar a raven with a love of shiny things and a warlock with secrets.  This story was a fun romp with a satisfying conclusion.

In this installment we have a road trip with his brothers best friend turning into so much more. Benjamin is the quiet growly twin and when circumstances lead him into taking a road trip with Brenna they find comfort in each others arms. These characters will make your heart swell. This is a sweet addition to the series.

My review:

The Hatfield’s and McCoy’s have nothing on vampires and werewolves. In this dramatic tale we have Adria a young vampire poised to take over her inheritance after her parents death one year ago and Caleb a werewolf who might be strong enough to be alpha but doesn’t want the hassle. Betrayal sends Adria running into werewolf territory where she is saved from killers chasing her. Caleb saves her from his werewolf brethren but takes her prisoner. Maybe all the werewolves and vampires had to do was get to know one another. Adria and Caleb might seem like opposites but under it all they have more in common than not.  This is a sweet, sexy tale of love and danger.

My review:

This is the first in a series well worth exploring. I’ll admit I was a little surprised by the content as the cover is more paranormal cozy than hard charging UF. I love Apiya. She isn’t the most powerful (nor the least) being in town but straddling the line between the magical beings and the mundane humans has put her in a precarious spot. I love the setting and I love her kicka$$ GBF. The supporting cast is fabulous and I love her fluffy blonde roomie. This story leaves us with unanswered questions and new adventures to look forward to. I’ve already purchased the next installment.

My review:

This book starts out rough but builds to a satisfying conclusion. There may be triggers for those with issues with abuse. Bailey is abused by the Dom who claims to love and is supposed to care for her. When she finally gets away from him she meets a Dom who wants to show her how a healthy D/s relationship should work; that relationship grows into something more.

Another exciting adventure in love assisted along by the marvelous Gerri Wilder matchmaking mavin extraordinaire. In this installment Gerri matches a lion shapeshifting prince from another planet with a stuntwoman with a penchant for motorcycles. I loved that the author calls out a character for her unfair assumptions of Archons knowledge of local customs or lack thereof. Watching Archon and Leah get to know one another was a blast.

My review:

No Place to Hyde is the perfect Halloween read. It’s got creepy characters, spooky locals, dead bodies and mystery. I’m not a fan of horror but I enjoyed this spooky read.

My review:

Serena Moon is a mermaid and a mage and it is her month to care for the orphaned elven princess Ameria. She is used to babysitting for her sisters children but full time is a whole other thing especially when the bad guys are out to get your charge by any means necessary. I loved that despite her skills Serena is a little insecure and despite her independent ways she knows when to ask for help. This is a smart, well told story that surprised me every other page. Highly recommend.

My review:

I loved this twist on the sleeping beauty tale. This tales features not Aurora but her older half sibling Miriam. Miriam loves her new baby sister and will do what it takes to protect her. Giving up societal norms of a woman’s place Miriam trains using all her gifts and skills to protect the little princess. I LOVED THIS STORY though it left me wanting more.

This story takes you on an emotional rollercoaster as an orphan makes contact with her family for the first time. There is a whole lot going on in this story and you’ll want time to read it through.

My review:

Oh my heart! The author has taken a dark world and given it light through love. Francesca is a survivor of a traumatic sexual assault seven years earlier. Giovanni has loved Francesca from afar for the past year. He has been patient but a man can take only so much and now he makes his intentions known. Watching this big gruff guy taking his time to woo this incredibly strong woman was so touching. I loved this story.

My review:

These may be my two favorite Milly Taiden characters ever! And that’s from a whole lot of stories. Two book nerds falling for each other if they can just stay alive long enough. I LOVE Navy and Karina. They made me laugh, cry and sigh. Though this is part of a series it can be read standalone.

My review:

An exciting first in a new series. New beginnings, that’s what this move is for journalist Avery Winters. She leaves behind her home an emotionally abusive ex and a toxic relationship with her parents so she left Australia for a small town in England. There she hopes to deal with the apparitions and reclaim her self confidence. She makes new friends and starts a new job. Oh, she finds a dead body and thus starts an adventure and a mystery or three. This was really enjoyable. The author introduces us to a wonderful cast of supporting characters that I hope to learn more about in future installments.
