Dragon's Hope (Dragon Eggs #2) by Emily Martha Sorensen

Blurb:
As their wedding day fast approaches, Rose's nerves hit their peak. More and more, she finds herself drawn to the other dragon eggs, pleading with them to hatch so that she won't be the only mother to a baby dragon in New York City.
But when one of other eggs finally does awaken, the second dragon bonds with someone Rose would never have expected . . . and who does not seem suitable as a parent.

My review:
This second installment Has Rose and Henry getting married and meeting Virgil. The stresses of school and a new baby give them little time to explore each other. I love that the author gives us a realistic picture of young parenting. I look forward to seeing where she takes it from here.

Ink Exposed (Montgomery Ink #6) by Carrie Ann Ryan

Blurb:
The Montgomery Ink series continues with the brother that deserves a second chance, and the woman who has always loved him.

Alex Montgomery lost his first love and then proceeded to leave himself in the bottle. Only he and his ex-wife truly know why he fell so hard and so fast down a path he never thought he’d take. Now he’s clean, out of rehab, and learning how to be a Montgomery once again—a task that isn’t quite as easy as some of his family assumes.

Tabby Collins is an honorary Montgomery and the organizational mastermind behind Montgomery Inc., the family’s construction company. She loves her planners, friends, and a certain dark-haired man who’s never given her a second glance.

Alex is slowly re-immersing himself back into the world, but the demons he faced before aren’t out of the picture, and he’ll have to learn to rely on others to make it out whole. When Alex discovers that Tabby’s life is in danger, he not only finds a way to help her but also learns the true woman behind the soft smiles he’s always seen. Their romance won’t be an easy one, but nothing this passionate and heart-pounding ever is.

My review:
I was one of those who were clamoring for Alex’s story. Alex is the baby brother who turned to alcohol rather than his family when his problems grew too tough to ignore. Everything came to a head at Miranda and Deckers wedding. Alex went into rehab after that. He has now been sober a little over a year and he is fighting to stay in control. Falling for Tabby is the antithesis of control but may just be the best thing that has ever happened to him. I love that the author doesn’t dismiss or belittle his struggles to stay sober. Nor does she shy from the problems inherent in a relationship with a recovering alcoholic. Watching Tabby and Alex heal each other was truly beautiful. Ink Exposed is a fantastic addition to the series and well worth the wait.

Dragon's Egg (Dragon Eggs #1) by Emily Martha Sorensen

Blurb:
Rose didn't count on becoming a mother to a brand new baby dragon egg.

She's always wanted to be a paleontologist, and is now in college studying to become one. But a chance meeting at the American Musuem of Natural History turns her world upside down. Because, millions of years after dragons have gone extinct, there's an egg that seems to be unexpectedly . . . alive.

The egg knows what he wants. He wants Rose and a stranger, Henry, to be his new parents. But can three strangers of two different species become a family?

A 14,000 word G-rated new adult fantasy.

My review:
Dragon's Egg is a short fun adventure in what looks to be a serial. I read it right after watching J.K. Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them so I was in the right headspace to enter this world. I look forward to seeing where the author takes Rose, Henry and their unusual baby.

Snow Balls (Balls to the Wall #4) by Tara Lain

Blurb:
Big, handsome and hunky, JJ LaRousse looks like an alpha male but acts like an interior decorator. And he’s trying to be happy about it -- until a robbery at the famous Laguna Winter Fantasy brings JJ face-to-face with tough cop, Ryan Star. JJ hears Ryan likes guys who are manly men, so he drops his voice an octave, colors over his pink hair, and tries to pass as a football fan.

Ryan Star may be tough but he hides in the closet at work since he learned in New York that being a gay cop can cost you your life. His attraction to that big, handsome kid threatens his anonymity, but he can’t seem to resist. JJ is just his type. But then JJ goes skiing and comes face to face with his greatest nemesis-- and all the secrets come out of the closet. Can Ryan love JJ for who he really is? More important, can JJ?

My review:
m/m
Snow Balls is a short, sweet story about love and being true to yourself. JJ LaRousse is a 6’4” walking talking sterotype. He works in an art gallery while going to school for interior design. Ryan Star is a rough and tough cop who is afraid to come out of the closet. True he has his reasons but until we know what they are he comes across as a bit of an asshole and not worth JJ pretending to be butch for. Watching them discover just what is important is well worth the read. This book was written in 2012 and the fashions didn’t age well but the story is timeless.

Bound in Flames (Drachen Mates #1) by Milly Taiden

Blurb:
Morgan Polley is an empath who helps people. When she meets Tor and his family of dying dragons, she wants to assist them in finding their mates. Except for Tor’s. She wants to keep him and make lots of babies with the big sexy man. It’s getting hard to remember her objective when her hormones go out of whack around him.

Tor Drachen is one of a handful of dragons left on earth, dying due to their mates being targeted and killed before finding each other. He’s been told Morgan Polley will be a mate to one of his kind, but who? He’s having a hard time keeping her at bay and the thought of getting her pregnant to start a family is a very tempting idea.

A breed of evil dragons is after Morgan, but Tor promises to protect her to the very end. Even if it turns out that she’s one of his brothers’ mates. If he can’t find a way to cheat fate, he will walk away without his heart.

Note to readers: This is a hot, action-packed, fun adventure of dragon love, babies, sassy women, dirty-talking alpha males and enough heat it will make you take a couple of cold showers. Don't say I didn't warn you.

My review:
A smoking hot new series from Milly Taiden. Tired of bears and werewolves check out these lonely dragons looking for a mate. Bound in Flames introduces us to a world where dragons exist and are on the endangered species list. It seems every time they find their mate it gets killed taking them with it. When Tor meets Morgan (a foretold mate) he is unhappily convinced that she must be for one of the others but that doesn’t stop him from wanting her. Watching these two get together is a blast and the supporting cast gives us a lot to look forward to.

For the Bear's Eyes Only (Grizzlies Gone Wild #3) by Kathy Lyons

Blurb:
BEAR ON THE PROWL

Life as Alan Carman knew it is over. After he was captured and tortured by a mysterious enemy, the lawyer's latent grizzly-shifter DNA was triggered. The old Alan is gone, and in his place is a terrifying vicious beast that lives and breathes for revenge. He will track down the person who did this to him-and it'll be the last thing he ever does.

Tonya Kappes refuses to let Alan run headlong to his death. A bear-shifting deputy-and the Gladwin Clan's beta-Tonya faces Alan with one weapon: the love that's lingered between them since they were kids. But the idealistic man she knew has changed...into something raw, primal, and unbelievably sexy, igniting every lustful cell in her body. And, if Alan can't learn to love the beast inside himself, maybe he can love the animal in her . . .

***

The Grizzlies Gone Wild Series

Book 1: The Bear Who Loved Me
Book 2: License to Shift
Book 3: For the Bear's Eyes Only

My review:
In my humble opinion this is the best book in the trilogy. We became acquainted with
Alan Carman non-shifting brother to the Alpha in the previous books (and no you don’t have to have read them to enjoy this one). Alan has over compensated for the lack of ability to shift. He works out, he swims and does martial arts but most of all he has exercised his brain. He is a lawyer to the clan and helps out in a million other ways. But he has had it with being treated as a second class citizen because he can’t shift. Things have finally come to a head. He was captured, tormented and experimented upon for five days and nobody even knew he was missing. Worse now his bear DNA has been activated and he has become a monster in his own mind and body. He is convinced he is going to die anyway so he plans to let his monster loose on the woman who did this to him. Can the one woman he has ever loved get through to him and convince him he has something to live for?
Alan could have gone the whole poor pitiful me route but he didn’t. Is he a bit angsty? Yep but he deserves it and so do those who’ve let him down. Watching Tonya try to get through to Alan is worth the read alone but then there are some smoking hot sex scenes you won’t want to miss.

Shifter Date: Must Love Lions (A Shifter Date Paranormal Romance) by Alma Black Free book & Contest

Blurb:
Alexis Parrish is very single. Sassy and smart, she's great at her job as a journalist, but it's never given her the time to find the right man--specifically, a human. So when she gets assigned to interview Max, a lion shifter, about the new dating app he's created, she can't believe her intense attraction to him. After all, humans and shifters don't date.

Max is used to causing trouble. He broke tradition by creating the dating app, Shifter, which humans and shifters alike can use to answer the call of the wild.

When Max challenges Alexis to give him a chance, she can't say no. A human like her has no business with this handsome alpha lion, but she can't resist his magnetism. Their chemistry is primal, their connection positively animalistic. After all, once you go shifter, you never go back.

But when a rogue shifter group against interspecies dating targets Alexis, Max will stop at nothing to protect her. It's more than his pride on the line; it's his mate.

Warning: If sassy, sexy, and carnal reads aren't your thing, this book isn't for you. It contains lots of dirty sex, violence, and witty banter.

My review:
Fun debut PNR. Fans of Jessica Sims and Milly Taiden will get a kick out of Shifter Date: Must Love Lions. This is a sweet and sexy read that also tackles the very serious topic of prejudice and interracial dating without being too heavy. I fell for Max right away and always like a smart and sassy female lead. I look forward to seeing where the author takes this series.

Amaryllis (St. Helens #1) by Jayne Castle

Blurb:
Amaryllis Lark is one of the best psychic detectives on St. Helen’s, the earth colony recently cut off from the mother planet, yet not so very different from home. . . . Lucas Trent, the rugged head of Lodestar Exploration, isn’t keen on the prim type—and from her crisp business suit to her cool evaluation of his request to bust a corporate thief, beautiful Amaryllis is excruciatingly proper. But when a bold hunch heats up into a twisting murder investigation, by-the-book Amaryllis must let her guard down and break some rules—and a red-hot love affair ignites. Now, as they race to solve a puzzle of deadly intrigue, no power—otherworldly or otherwise—can keep them apart!

My review:
Told with her trademark sense of humor, adventure and love this, the first in a trilogy is a truly fun read. Jayne Ann Krentz writing as Jayne Castle builds an incredible world and you are a sucked into it and don’t want to leave even after the last page has turned. Opposites attract and fall in love against all odds. Off to read the next in the series.

Freckles by Amy Lane

Blurb:
Carter Embree has always hoped to be rescued from his productive, tragically boring, and (slightly) ethically compromised life. But when an urchin at a grocery store shoves a bundle of fluff into his hands, Carter goes from rescuee to rescuer—and he needs a little help.

Sandy Corrigan, the vet tech who helps ease Carter into the world of dog ownership, first assumes that Carter is a crazy-pants client who just needs to relax. But as Sandy gets a glimpse into the funny, kind, sexy man under Carter’s mild-mannered exterior, he sees that with a little care and feeding, Carter might be Super-Pet Owner—and decent boyfriend material to boot.

But Carter needs to see himself as a hero first. As he says good-bye to his pristine house and hello to carpet treatments and dog walkers, he finds that there really is more to himself than a researching drudge without a backbone. A Carter Embree can rate a Sandy Corrigan. He can be supportive, he can be a hero, he can be a man who stands up for his principles!

He can be the owner of a small dog.

My review:
m/m
I LOVED this sweet story. Picture a harassed uptight lawyer faced with an adorable bundle of fluff. He has no clue what to do with it so he heads to PetSmart and meets his savior in the form of vet tech (and veterinary student) Sandy. Sandy helps him navigate the perils of small dog ownership and along the way they help each other in other ways as well. I am still giggling.

One Snowy Night (Heartbreaker Bay #2.5) by Jill Shalvis

Blurb:
New York Times bestselling author Jill Shalvis returns to Heartbreaker Bay with a fun and festive holiday novella!

It’s Christmas Eve and Rory Andrews is desperate to get home to the family she hasn’t seen in years. Problem is, her only ride to Lake Tahoe comes in the form of the annoyingly handsome Max Stranton, and his big, goofy, lovable dog Carl.

Hours stuck in a truck with the dead sexy Max sounds like a fate worse than death (not), but Rory’s out of options. She’s had a crush on Max since high school and she knows he’s attracted to her, too. But they have history… and Max is the only one who knows why it went south.

They’ve done a good job of ignoring their chemistry so far, but a long road trip in a massive blizzard might be just what they need to face their past… and one steamy, snowy night is all it takes to bring Max and Rory together at last.

My review:
Jill Shalvis is incapable of writing a bad story. Her characters make you fall in love with them no matter how bull headed they are. In One Snowy Night the attraction between Max and Rory comes to a head as they ride together from San Francisco to Lake Tahoe on Christmas Eve. The weather conspires against them and they are forced to confront their issues. A fun novella filled with Christmas magic and love.

Butterfly Style (The Dartmouth Cobras #8.5) by Bianca Sommerland

Blurb:
Freedom has always been a priority for Kelsey “Chicklet” Galloway. From choosing bartending over a ‘real’ career, to avoiding monogamy like the plague, she’s always paved her own way, living her life in a way that makes her happy. As a Domme she is content to give a lucky sub—or two—a night to remember, but she’s never met anyone who made her consider sharing her carefree world.

Until she meets a woman who desperately needs a little taste of it.

Officer Laura Tallant has her whole life in order, is looking at a promotion on the police force in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and finally has some time off for a much needed vacation. When her plan to find some release with her former Master falls through, she’s left searching for an alternative. And finds one that fulfills more than her desire to escape reality for a brief, blissful moment.

Chicklet makes her feel more alive than anyone she’s ever known, but nothing about her follows the rules of what Laura is supposed to want. The last time Laura put her heart on the line, she was left broken and alone. A chance at love might rip open old scars. Or give her a safe place to finally let them heal.

Warning: Contains sex, a boy toy or two, and scenes of consensual BDSM. Also language. Intended for adult audiences.

Author’s note: This is the story of how Chicklet and Laura’s relationship began, which takes place before Game Misconduct (The Dartmouth Cobras #1). There are scenes involving characters from the other books, but it can still be read as a standalone. The hockey is light in this book, but I still consider it a Cobra novella because Chicklet’s earns her place as an honorary member over the years. Any woman who can handle the trouble triplets deserves that at very least! lol

My review:
f/f
This is the story of how Chicklet and Laura’s relationship began. Chicklet has always been a favorite character. She is a take no crap I am who I am kinda girl. And that is exactly what Officer Laura Tallant needs in her life. Chicklet and Laura have been supporting cast throughout this series and it was really nice to see how they got together. Butterfly Style is a short sweet and sexy escape.

Blurb:
THE TIME INVESTED….
At the young age of twelve, Kaydee Harrison wanted an adventure, to dream of far off places, and a pen pal seemed the perfect way to do that. She started writing to a girl in England only to have her address passed on to a boy named Duncan, and that moment changed her life. Ten years later, sharing thoughts and dreams through pen and paper has brought them closer than ever.
When Duncan sends Kaydee a scarf for her twenty-second birthday and a card expressing his love for her, she’s happy but her hopes are shattered when he mentions his grade school friend Mara has come to visit him at Oxford. Is she really just a friend? Unexpected jealousy torments her thoughts.
THE CHANCE TAKEN…
With her father’s health failing and pressure mounting to run the family business, she needs to escape. Kaydee finds herself on a plane to see if the fantasy of Duncan can be turned into a reality. Could this one chance at love change her life? Or will it be the one decision that tears their friendship apart?
THE MEETING OF A LIFETIME AWAITS…

My review:
Fabulous debut novel. A sweet friends to lovers tale. When these two pen pals meet it is the culmination of over tens years friendship through the written word. The characters are sweet and sometimes dorky but you can’t help but love them and root for their happily ever after.

Brain (Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Club #2) by Candace Blevins

Blurb:
Book two of the Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Club.

Someone has hacked past Brain’s firewalls and sold the MC’s information. Brain and Bash are on a mission to catch the hacker, find out who hired him, and then make him pay.

Until Brain discovers the hacker is a woman, and just as smart as him. She’s so clever, he chases her a full week before he finally catches her.

She’s the enemy, and yet his wolf wants to protect her from Bash. Worse, his wolf is beginning to decide he wants to claim her.

This isn’t going to be pretty.

My review:
Brain is smart and rough and buff and stuff. He is on a mission to find the person who hacked their MC and sold their information. When he finally catches up to Ice he and his wolf are intrigued. She is smart and engaging. She is also damaged goods. Brain always treats her with respect. He doesn’t always treat her well but he always treats her with respect. Not knowing what torture she endured at the hands of the Russians Bash & Gonzo trigger her PTSD and animosity. I love that Brain takes the time to work with her on her issues rather than just giving up. I love that he won’t allow Duke or any of the other guys to disrespect her. This is a sweet sometimes dark MC romance and may push some triggers but a really great read.

Deadly Dog Days (A Dog Days Mystery #1) by Jamie M. Blair

Blurb:
New to the historic town of Metamora, Indiana, Cameron Cripps-Hayman is looking to make friends with her neighbors. What she isn’t looking for is one of their bodies floating in the canal.

When she and her estranged husband, the town sheriff, are both named suspects for the murder, Cameron takes solving the crime into her own hands, teaming up with her eccentric co-workers who dub themselves The Metamora Action Agency.

As if hunting for a murderer with two high school geniuses, the town drunk, and an elderly kleptomaniac isn’t hard enough, Cameron adopts the five mangy guard dogs of her deceased neighbor. But maybe a stint at playing gatekeeper is just what she needs to come face-to-face with the killer and save another neighbor from being the next victim.

My review:
A fun new cozy mystery from new to me author Jamie M. Blair. Moving to a new place is always tough and has placed a heavy strain on Cameron Cripps-Hayman’s marriage. But Cameron is making the best of it and carrying on. The town is dying a slow death and she seems determined to nip that in the bud. She is surrounded by an eclectic group of misfits that will steal your heart and pretty much anything else lying around. When Cameron finds the body of a young woman rumored to have been seeing Cam’s estranged husband she is immediately a suspect. She is not going to take that lying down. With the help of her silly friends and the deceased’s pack of dogs Cam is a rather inept sleuth but determination and a big heart make up for a lot. This is a really sweet and fun read. I look forward to more from Cam in the future.

His twin brother is dead and the only way National Intelligence officer, Mitch Holden, is going to make it through the holidays is by staying focused on his latest SCVC Taskforce investigation—catching a homegrown terrorist with a penchant for arson. The terrorist has started a wildfire eating up thousands of acres of forest and putting dozens of people in danger. When Mitch is pulled off that assignment to play bodyguard to a sexy forensic psychologist who sees past all his defenses, he ends up in the middle of a personal wildfire that’s as out of control as the one burning around the two of them.

A killer on the loose…

Rebuilding her life in the aftermath, Emma now rescues horses, dogs, and juvenile delinquents, and there’s no way she’s heading to a safe house because Chris Goodsman has escaped. She refuses to let anyone terrorize her or destroy her life again. But when a smart-talking, irresistible federal agent shows up insisting he has to protect her, she realizes her new bodyguard needs a bit of therapy. Good thing taking in lost causes happens to be her specialty.

Two people filled with grief may get burned…

Trapped at the ranch by the wildfire, Mitch and Emma explore a searing attraction, but soon discover they’re not alone. A killer has joined them—one who will do anything to get revenge and isn’t afraid to take out anyone who gets in his way.

My review:
Romantic suspense with just a touch of angst. Two damaged souls meet under intense conditions and fall for each other. They may not be perfect but they are perfect for each other. I love Dr. Emma Collins. She is a strong snarky woman who can help everyone but herself. Mitch Holden too loses himself in his job just to get by. Now Emma is the job. These two may just save each other.

A Bar, A Brother, And A Ghost Hunt (Deanna Oscar Paranormal Mystery Book 3) by C.C. Dragon

A Bar, A Brother, And A Ghost Hunt (Deanna Oscar Paranormal Mystery Book 3)
by C.C. Dragon

Blurb:
Whether it was a time warp or just a time jump, Deanna Oscar spent years in Chicago with her brother while he fought cancer and ultimately lost. But even as a ghost, he’s not making things easier on his sister. He’s refusing to cross over.

De heads back to New Orleans to resume her work but her brother fails to show up in Heaven and Gran is in a tizzy. Also De’s friend, Ivy, committed our favorite medium to do a ghost hunt with one of those annoying TV shows. De wanted things to go back to normal—deal with supernatural problems and catch a murderer or two.

But the location for the ghost hunt is very much haunted and she can’t say no when a man sits in jail for a murder he denies he committed while working at a bar that oozes evil. Deanna juggles angels, demons, and Death himself plus a puppy! She’ll probably solve the mystery, hopefully save her brother, and maybe even find a date to her ex-boyfriend’s wedding in time.

My review:
Dr. Deanna Oscar is back! It has been a few years since the first two books as Deanna has been acting as caretaker for her brother and father up in Chicago. Now her brother has passed on and her dad is managing his own health issues and Deanna wants nothing more than to go home to NOLA and do what she does best. A Bar, A Brother, And A Ghost Hunt isn’t as funny as the first two books but has its share of funny moments. The mystery in this book is enthralling. This book sucked me in and kept me turning pages until the very end. I adore this series and look forward to future installments.

Blurb:
When Thomas Khatt awakens to the magical world following the sudden, violent death of his elderly Archmagus neighbor, he doesn’t get the standard package of awesome power combined with a hero destiny. Nope, he trades his thumbs in for a tail, tawny fur and four feet with a very low co-efficient of friction on linoleum. His destiny as one of three talking mountain lions in the magical world? To be sold at auction and bonded to some pimply faced apprentice for life.

Thomas would rather eat dirty kitty litter.

Armed only with an impressive set of chompers and buckets of snark, Thomas faces off against a lightning-bolt throwing granny and a sexy union recruiter as he desperately tries hold the threads of his old life together. To stay off the leash he’ll have to take advantage of the chaos caused by the Archmagus’ death and help the local Inquisition solve his murder. A pyromanic squirrel, religious werewolves, and cat-hating cops all add to the chaos as Thomas attempts to become the first Freelance Familiar.

My review:

Off Leash (Freelance Familiars #1) by Daniel Potter is my first experience from this author. It is a fun, sweet paranormal fantasy. After a sluggish start this develops into a really good story. It took me a bit to warm up to Thomas but he has such a great heart you can’t not like him. Thrown into a new reality and a new body Thomas has a lot to deal with and he does in his own way. I love that he is strong enough (unsure enough) not to fall in with the party line and that is what makes the story rock! A fun new series and adventures I am looking forward to. Looking forward to the next book Marking Territory.

My review:
At Last is a feel good friends to lovers romance that made my heart sing. Passion expresses itself in odd ways and as they were growing up Aeden fought with his sisters best friend Wendy at every turn. The night of his sister’s wedding the passion turned grown up. Then she left to work in Africa for six months. Now she is back and they are going to explore that together. If their families, a stalker and each other don’t get in their way. A fun sweet read.

Medusa's Heart by Joey W. Hill

Blurb:
John Pierce has been in covert operations all his adult life. He doesn’t know anything else but that and being a Dom, because that’s how he blows off steam and balances the nagging emptiness inside of him. Since he was a kid, he’s carried around an infatuation that’s grown into an embarrassing obsession. He’s in love with a myth—Medusa
“Mad Merlin” Maddock doesn’t think that’s crazy. He believes in powers deeper and stronger than men or gods, a connecting energy like the oceans. To those powers, healing a broken heart could create a ripple effect in the universe impacting all, even if that heart lives in the alternate dimension of folklore and myth. JP is the first one Maddock plans to send across those lines to bond with the woman he’s always wanted.
JP agrees to be his first guinea pig for two reasons. One, Maddock is so damn convincing, and two, the need for her has tripled since he met the guy. If Maddock can send JP into her world, JP will let nothing stop him from claiming her for his own and healing her heart, because he’s sure as hell she’s the missing piece of his.
He just has to make sure she doesn’t turn him into lawn ornamentation first.

My review:
Joey W. Hill has done it again! First off snakes eww right? Wrong. Joey gives Medusa's snakes names and personalities that somehow remove the ick factor. I think JP’s reaction helps with acceptance too. Medusa's Heart Is a sweet love story with a bit of romantic suspense and a little bit of BDSM and a whole lot of magic. I am not fond of time travel love stories but in this case it was pretty much just a way to get these two together. This book pulled me into another time and place and I just loved it! I hope we get to revisit the Circus in a future book.

Explosive Forces (K-9 Rescue #5) by D.D. Ayres

Blurb:
Danger is heating up…

When Carly Reese’s beloved fashion boutique catches fire, she sees her dreams go up in smoke. The good news is that Carly was saved from the flames by a barking dog nearby. She soon discovers the heroic pooch is a trained K-9 who’s guarding his unconscious partner …a gorgeous firefighter who ends up in Carly’s arms.

Noah Glover and his K-9 are a fearless duo, and Noah has clearly met his match with the brave, beautiful Carly. Soon they team up to track down the arsonist behind the blast – a psychotic criminal who’s intent on framing Noah. Meanwhile, the sparks between Noah and and Carly could ignite a five-alarm fire. Should they smother their feelings in the name of justice…or fan the flames of passion?

My review:
A fantastic addition to the series although it can be read stand alone.  Carly is starting over. Noah is in stasis. It takes Noah almost dying to kick start his life. It starts when Carly saves him from a burning building and goes from there. These two end up saving each other with a bit of help from Noah’s K-9 companion Harley. Sweet, fun romantic suspense.
