My review:

Like the others in this series there is action, adventure and romance. Logan is a werewolf and the lead singer/songwriter for the Howlers. Though he is loyal to the pack and always comes when called he stands alone and lonely. Now we find out why. Vivianna Lopez. Anna stole his heart when he was just a pup but she is human and he doesn’t want to bring her into his world of danger. But now she is back and he doesn’t know if he has the strength to let her go again.

I adored these characters. Strong yet flawed and very real. Blue Moon is a terrific addition to this sweet, sexy and dangerous series.

My review:

In Fatal Promise (Slye Temp #6) by Dianna Love we finally get Sabrina and Gage’s story and oh boy just like everything else about these two it is filled with passion and trouble. This story is filled with romance, intrigue and more than a bit of angst but it is also a roller coaster filled with fun and adventure. The conclusion to the Slye Temp series goes out with a bang nobody could predict. I love that though this is the end of one series we will get to see our friends from time to time in Ms. Love’s new HAMR Brotherhood series.

If you like fast paced, sexy adventure with hot heroes and smart women than you will love this book. Sit down, strap in and enjoy the ride. Strong Silent SEAL is the second in the SEALs of Coronado series but can be read standalone. This is fun romantic suspense. Fans of Suzanne Brockmann will get a kick out of this.

My review:

Christine Feehan has created a new series that is sure to hook you, drag you in and make you beg for more. Shadow Rider is the first of this new series and introduces you to the Ferraro family. These are not nice guys. They ride the shadows and right the wrongs the cops and the courts can’t.

Francesca Cappello is on the run hiding from the psycho who killed her sister and is bent on ruining her life. Stefano Ferraro is fierce and a bit scary but he makes Francesca feel safe; something she hasn’t felt in a long time. Between the chemistry and the fear these two manage to find hope in a dark world.

Written as only Christine Feehan can this book will drag you in and force you to keep reading till the end. A terrific start to a new series in a complex world.

My review:

Ramping Up is a sports romance with a twist or two. Bad boy Gunner Smith has had enough! Enough of his life as a professional surfer, enough of dealing with his abusive alcoholic father, and now his sleazy agent has dropped him because he lost a sponsor. ENOUGH! Gunner takes his frustrations out at the skateboard park and is secretly filmed. When one door closes another opens the video goes viral and catches the attention of Helena Mavrick of Mavrick Allstars Agency. She makes it her mission to represent Gunner and turn him into a skateboarding star.  And this is where the story begins.

Told with a sense of humor this sometimes angsty tale is sweet and sexy read. Gunner is a hot troubled young man with a heart of gold. Helena is smart, driven and she too has a heart of gold, When these two meet magic happens.  But the road to happiness is paved with obstacles that these two will have to overcome. I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to more in this series.

My review:

I love this series. Nick & Kate are fun and passionate. The stories are fast paced romps that will leave you breathless and wanting more. The Pursuit (Fox and O'Hare #5) is no different. This book will make you laugh out loud and gasp in sympathetic terror. Each installment is better than the last.

My review:

Finally we get Maya and Jake’s story. It seems they were just waiting for the right time and a big guy named Border. This is a sweet and sexy story. I was a little disappointed that Maya lost some snark but I guess a life in turmoil will do that to a girl. Carrie Ann Ryan takes us down a somewhat angsty path to a fun conclusion. I want my own Jake and Border. Maya has her work cut out for her but oh the benefits.

My review:

A modern day fairy tale. Ava Green is having a bad day. Her partner has been shot and his widow has cleaned out the accounts and to top it off she has fallen into a world filled with magic, elves and other mystical beings. She handles it with much more aplomb than I would.

Royal Enchantment will suck you into a fantastical world where anything can happen. It is a fast pace almost too quick story that will leave you with a smile on your face.

This one is for the fans. The only upside she can see is that she will be closer to her young beau, recently turned vampire Jamie. As with the rest of the books in this series there are plenty of laughs and yes an opossum. The supporting cast in this story is fun and I’d love to see more of them in the future.

My review:

Merryn Dexter is a gifted storyteller. You are sucked in from the first page and reluctant to finish the last. I adore these characters, the spirt wounded cop and the heart damaged loner with an anti-bullying story going on in the background. The author manages to cram a lot in a short story but you don’t feel short changed. Mating Dance is part of the loosely connected Black Hills Wolves series but can be read standalone.  Highly recommended.

About the author:

LK Shaw is a physical therapist assistant by day and writer/social media addict by night. She resides in South Carolina with her high maintenance beagle mix dog, Miss P, who should probably just have her own Instagram account. An avid reader since childhood, she became hooked on historical romance novels in high school. It wasn’t until within the last seven or eight years she tried her hand at contemporary romances. While historical romance remains one of her favorite go-to genres, romantic suspense, especially with a little kink thrown in, have become a first pick from her TBR list.

She initially began writing in November 2015 as part of National Novel Writing Month, when, suddenly, the story became something more than just a “sure, I’ll try to put some words together”. My review:

Secrets of Submission is the debut novel by L.K. Shaw and it will leave you wanting more by this young author.  The story is told from his and her points of view and it is nice to see both sides of the story. It makes it easier to understand where each of the characters are coming from. The characters are human and likable. I really want Donovan’s story. I look forward to more from this author.

My review:

Trust is necessary for love to grow and both attorney Grace Parnell and pro drift car driver Artemis Tanner have valid reasons not to trust. Can they move past that so they can be together? I really liked both of these flawed characters and enjoyed watching them find each other and learn to trust. Falling Free is a well written tale of love and forgiveness that I really enjoyed.
